MAC PARTICIPATION CRITERIA

As of April 1, 2000 The Newaygo County Multi-Agency Consortium (MAC) reverted to an informal volunteer entity. There is no longer a paid MAC Facilitator or formal MAC leadership structure. However the MAC continues, as it originally evolved and thrived, as an informal network of non-profit human services agency leaders who cooperate to meet common community needs.

Newaygo County non-profit organizations are encouraged to participate in the following ways:

  1. Maintain a current presence on the MAC Web Page-Agency Directory.
  2. Enroll agency personnel on the MAC Listserv so that relevant e-mail communications relevant to agencies can be easily shared. To register just send an e-mail to listserv@ncats.net. by clicking here. Leave the (subject) blank. In the message area type (subscribe MACserv) followed by your name. Example: Subscribe MACserv John Doe. You will receive an e-confirmation. To un-subscribe repeat, but type in un-subscribe.
  3. Participate in quarterly MAC meetings, the annual MAC Conference and other relevant events.
  4. Submit key event information to the NCISD/NCATS Community Calendar site.
